The President-elect bought the sprawling estate in Palm Beach, Florida, USA, in 1993 with then-wife Ivana, splashing out $10 million (£8 million) for it.

One of the bedrooms contains a plush four-poster bed dripping in gold with a matching dressing table and chair. And the lurid living room is littered with gold furniture, glittering lights and a flashy ceiling.
The lavish 17-acre country club’s decadent interiors are dripping with gold leaf, carved stone and rare marble.
